Proven experience

My experience started over 13 years ago when I started with my mentor Pete Schlagel, of Schlagel Masonry. Recently retired, he taught me many of the masonry basics as well as advanced and specialized practices still used in masonry today. Since working in the industry I have worked with many homebuilders (large & small), on exterior and interior installations. My knowledge and passion of installing and repairing brick, block, stone (manufactured and natural) and full stone shows in my work. I have received many jobs due to referrels from satisfied customers as well as builders around the metro and midwest area.

About my family

Carlson Brick & Stone is based in Cottage Grove, MN and is a family owned and operated business. My wife is fully involved in the operations of the business along with the help of our two beautiful daughters Vienna (3 1/2 and Sophia 1). When I am not working, I am enjoying the outdoors with my family. I love to ice fish, hunt, camp, play hockey & baseball, work in the yard, and do small projects around the house. I also enjoy heading north to Brainerd Lakes area to the cabin to unwind and of course, sit by the bonfire.
